ASBAAR is a meeting with our ancestors who speak to us in our dreams, and teach us how to run our lives, everything that lies between the energies that move the world. To hear is to connect with our collective conscience, irrational consciousness that unites all living things together with all the energy that moves the universe. ASBAAR is the side project by Marc Merinee from ELDAR, this road experience with environmental sounds, industrial or daily, combined with all religious and philosophical concept mystic, seeking a state of mind open to perceive all the nuances of our inner and come to understand and to internalize our environment and our ideas, wrapping us in soundscapes that will help us create our own space and our own conclusions.

This triple-CD set features both, already well-known tracks from the project’s official studio albums in most interesting, very different live-versions and some exclusive compositions, never heard or released before! 'Live Archive 1' contains the very first live performance of raison d’être at ‘Festival Musiques Ultimes’ in Nevers, France, 1996. The performed work was titled ‘Drop of Crystal with a thousand Eyes’, which later formed the
studio album 'In Sadness, Silence and Solitude'. Also included in 'Live Archive 1' is two tracks recorded from 'Wave-Gotik-Treffen' in 2003 and 'Eurorock' in 2000. 'Live Archive 2' contains live recordings from Sophia, Zurich, Gent, and London (at KOKO) in 2006. 'Live Archive 3' contains a collection of unique live-only material from performances in Barcelona and Madrid (Spain), April 2007.
