"Necro Facility delivers one of their best works to date in the realm of industrial that originates from the sound originally created by bands such as Skinny Puppy and Numb. Their sound sounds like Skinny Puppy doesn’t do or isn’t able to do these days, and it really brings you back to the succesful days of Skinny Puppy or the early Nine Inch Nails. With a bit more feeling for compact songwriting as well. Threatening synth sequences, sparse guitars and heavy drum rhythms create an energetic drive in the tracks. The atmosphere Necro Facility create is claustrophobic and haunting and it really delivers in the tracks ‘Fever Eyes’, ‘Dogma’, ‘Tuxedo’, ‘Anubis’ and ‘Kite’."

Steel Hook Prostheses : Atrocitizer [2008]

01. Dehumanization
02. Murderous Science
03. Tepid Discharge
04. In Dreams We Are Malevolent
05. Skin Melt Threshold
06. Scarifier (Alternate Version)
07. Trauma Bonding
08. Grand Declaration Of Obedience
09. Atrocitizer
10. The Excruciation Sequence

"Atrocitizer will probably not be considered
their most aggressive release, it is unquestionably their most
unsettling and creepy. 10 tracks in total and close to 50 minutes
of death industrial in it's purest form, dripping and oozing with
sinister intentions, and full of grim electronics, unnerving
pulsations, and cold frequency spasms that swarm from a fetid pit
of malevolence. Add in a steady stream of ultra menacing ,
processed vocals and nightmarish samples, and surely you have one
of the more disturbing releases ever to be released on Malignant."

02. The Great Man I. - The Stance (9:37)
03. Those Who Are Still Waiting (5:14)
04. Porta Heroum (5:28)
05. The Ancient Lords (4:26)
06. The Great Man II. - Realisation (6:14)
07. Standing By Truth (3:20)

"A release shrouded in mystery, which perfectly suits their self-titled release. Long winding synthscapes, military drums, lots of spoken word, battle trumpets and crude post-industrial violence seperated by beautiful violin or piano interludes. This record is never boring. In fact, it's very well constructed and even intruiging at times."

13 Aux Volontaires Croix De Sang (5:40)
14 Front-Franc Et Flambeau (6:58)
15 Cimetiére (Chanté Par Charles Panzéra) (4:16)

"The CD starts with a church organ slow and evolving, then slow droning sounds and shellac samples. Erik takes you on a jouney through French history with warm industrial sounds, fragmentary speeches and French music from the thirties. It comes to you like rags of music from a village in the distant. From minimal to bombastic pieces of music with drums and a lot of church organs and authentic samples. "

MACHINES AMOK
12. Product
13. Machine's Amok
14. All That Ages
15. This Is Not The End

"Sect is the project Lukasz Maj and musically can be regarded as a fusion of oppressive mechanical industrial, military rhythms and ambient. The essence of the album Great Desired Utopia is the confrontation of human’s development with unrestrained lust for power and domination. Sounds interesting, but musically it is even more interesting. The album is divided in two parts. Part one is called Great Desired Utopia and the second Machine’s Amok. On both parts Lukasz manages to create a well-balanced claustrophobic, dark, threatening and intense mind-trip. The two parts combine very well and in between there’s a well deserved rest with the beautiful dreamlike tune Dusk which gives listener some time to breath. If I should a reference: it reminds me a bit of Melek-tha but Sect manages to be original and interesting throughout the entire album. Poland again manages to surprise me with a superb and original act. This album is pure gold and is recommended to every fan of this genre!"

Front 242 : Headhunter [1988]

1. Headhunter (v 1.0)
2. Welcome to Paradise (v 1.0)

Headhunter is the first 242/EBM song I heard back in early 1989. At the time, I didn't know who the artist was or what genre of music it was when it was playing on the radio. All I knew was this song was different, unique, unusual, innovative, cutting edge, futuristic compared to other songs playing on the radio at the time. Released in 1988, I was really lucky to hear it early. Later on, in August 1990 a friend of mine lent me a tape which was Front 242's Never Stop! containing Headhunter v 1.0 (strangely, he called the music "new wave", but I didn't think so). The rest is history, my friend...
Enjoy!
